Pengakuan Michael Jackson Ketika Dihipnotis
Kasus pelecehan seksual terhadap anak di bawah umur yang dihadapi Michael Jackson memang secara hukum tidak terbukti namun kebenaran kejadian ini memang tak ada yang pernah tahu, kecuali Michael sendiri tentunya. Uri Geller, sebagai teman baik Michael, mengaku pernah mendapat pengakuan jujur Michael saat berada dalam kondisi terhipnotis.
Sebagai seorang psychic, Uri Geller jelas mampu menghipnotis orang dan itulah yang ia lakukan terhadap Michael sekitar tahun 1990-an. Teman baik Michael ini mengaku pernah diminta Michael untuk menghipnotis dirinya agar ia bisa sembuh dari penyakit bulimia yang ia derita.
"Michael sempat berkata, 'Anda bisa membuat saya sehat?.' Saya menjawab, 'Boleh saya menghipnotis Anda?' dan saya menghipnotis dia. Saya lantas bertanya, 'Michael, Anda pernah menyentuh anak kecil dengan cara yang tidak seharusnya?' dan Michael menjawab, 'Tidak, saya tidak akan pernah melakukan itu.' Saya lalu menanyakan, 'Kenapa Anda membayar Jordy Chander?' dan dia menjawab, 'Saya sudah bosan. Saya tak sanggup lagi menghadapi itu semua.'," ungkap Uri seperti diberitakan ContactMusic.
Uri sengaja melakukan itu karena ia penasaran tentang apa yang sebenarnya terjadi pada Michael. Ia sebenarnya tak percaya Michael sanggup melakukan pelecehan seksual terhadap anak di bawah umur namun saat Michael memilih menyelesaikan kasus Jordy Chander tanpa melalui jalur hukum, rasa penasaran menghantui Uri. Uri tak pernah menceritakan itu pada siapapun termasuk Michael. Hingga hari kematiannya, Michael tak pernah tahu bahwa ia sempat membuat pengakuan jujur pada sahabatnya ini.
